Strathlachlan Lodge
Strathlachlan Lodge is a rustic luxury private house accommodating up to seven guests set in a mountain and forest location on the east side of Loch Fyne In Argyll, one of the most picturesque parts of Scotland.
The sense of tranquility and the feeling of relaxation and comfort that one experiences on arrival will delight the senses.
Recenty we have added a mini spa which has a genuine Finnish sauna and a spacious changing area with shower. There is an outer relaxation area with two loungers and two vintage Swedish low chairs. Also outside is a 6 person high spec Milan jacuzzi and a high pressure outdoor shower.

The Lodge
The original building is over 200 years old and is a combination of New England and Highland styles. Wood panelled with quality furnishings and fittings throughout.
We have tried hard to create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere with the décor, quality beds and linens, super efficient heating system and log burner. High pressure showers and underfloor heating add to the luxury environment. A Sonos sound system, BT Infinity Wifi and a Freesat television are provided.
The snug with separate TV, DVD and PS3 is ideal for kids/teenagers to have their own space allowing adults to relax in the main lounge.
We also provide bikes for guests use.
All this and only 1.5hrs from Glasgow you will find a haven of peace, tranquillity and relaxation.
The Mini Spa & Garden
Located at lower ground rear garden level the spa has an outdoor 6 person 96 jet high spec Milan hot tub with mood lighting, ideal for relaxing. In true continental style, an outdoor heated shower is located close by. Within the Spa area can be found a genuine Finnish 4 person sauna cabin with chromotherapy lighting.
This is complemented with a changing / resting area with shower cubicle and towel storage unit and an outer relaxation room with two loungers and two vintage Swedish easy chairs.
Both areas have underfloor heating and music provided by a bluetooth BOSE sound touch speaker.
Argyll is one of the most picturesque parts of Scotland and Strathlachlan is in an area of incredible natural beauty which is quiet during the day and silent at night with dark skies and clean air providing a healthy and refreshing escape from modern life.
The Area
There are just 10 cottages in the charming hamlet of Strathlachlan. The outlook is over open countryside to forest and mountains on all sides with lovely views up the glen and wonderful walks directly from the Lodge. Within a short time you will start to relax and de-stress and enjoy the tranquil peaceful atmosphere that the Lodge offers.
The village of Strachur is 5 minutes away by car (30 mins on bicycle) which has two shops, a post office and tea room, hotel (with a great bar and restaurant) a petrol station/shop a pub and a medical centre. 1 mile away in the other direction is Loch Fyne shore and beach with the fabulous Inver Restaurant which overlooks Lachlan Bay and Old Castle Lachlan. 25 minutes away is Inveraray and Inveraray Castle passing the world famous and original Loch Fyne Oysters and the Fyne Ales Brewery .
